J. Crew at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets has dressed their mannequins for a preppy winter with a holiday theme to the storefront. For any fashionista out there who considers their style heavy on the preppy or enjoys incorporating stylish and preppy pieces into their look, J. Crew is the chic answer for you. The outfit on the mannequin exudes a cool preppy look in a patterned sweater, skirt and navy pea coat. Although the look is completely on point from head to toe, the elegant pea coat is my favorite part of the outfit. Investing in a fabulous winter coat is one of the best things a fashionista can do because in the cold winter months having a coat that is conventional and keeps you warm while still being fashionable and adding to your outfit is crucial. Rock a preppy look this winter and invest in an elegant  and structured winter coat such as a pea coat.

Stylish Storefront: Banana Republic

 Last night I headed to Brook 35 Plaza in Sea Girt with my mom to get my Starbucks fix because   I was craving a gingerbread latte. But before I made it to the Starbucks doors, I found my eyes   locking on the Banana Republic storefront because the mannequins in the window were    dressed impeccably and I immediately wanted the clothing to move from the bodies of the    mannequins to the hangers in my closet. Dressed in the best trends of the fall and winter    seasons, these chic outfits included winter white, statement outerwear in the form of fabulous    fur, and a bold necklace. Although all three of these outfits are certainly now on my wishlist,    my favorite piece is the zebra inspired fur coat in brown and tan. Not only will the jacket make    a statement with its beauty, but it is also the perfect coat to add to your fall and winter wardrobe because you can throw it over any outfit for an added layer of style.

Stylish Storefront: Kate Spade

 

The Kate Spade outlet at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets dressed their mannequins for the storefront in style from head to toe. The classic black and white ensemble on the one mannequin gets a punch of color with a structured red leather handbag. The bow belt gives the outfit a look of elegance while the sweater details add a bit more edge. The other mannequin rocks a long-sleeved purple-hued top with ankle cropped khaki pants, a bow belt, and the look is rounded out by a statement necklace. Although this Kate Spade location is an outlet store so the prices are discounted and there are much better deals, if it is not in your budget to replicate the outfit with the designer clothing use the looks as inspiration. Create your own outfit based on what you see and like in the image. Two of my favorite trends to wear to add something extra to my outfit are a colorful handbag when my outfit consists of neutral and classic colors and a statement necklace when I want to give a basic plain top a bit of a face lift.
